Careful engineering has achieved an ultra-light and ultra compact form factor without leaving out usability or performance. At an average height of just 22mm and weighing only 1.5Kg (using a 4-cell battery), the U32U is easy to carry. Sporting a stylish etched hairline aluminum finish on the cover and gorgeous brushed lavender application elsewhere, it's an eye-catching notebook that's as fun as it is satisfying to use.
Driven by AMD Brazos, the U32U offers users the efficiency and capabilities of the Fusion architecture, integrating the CPU and GPU on one component for better notebook performance. Graphics are by a new generation AMD Mobility Radeon HD 6000 series GPU, with full DirectX 11 compatibility for better multitasking and multimedia.
ASUS exclusive IceCool technology keeps heat away from users with a special thermal design that dramatically lowers palm rest surface temperatures. Even during long usage sessions, discomfort is averted.
A multi-gesture touchpad allows user to do more with intuitive haptic control, while to make input even more enjoyable, ASUS has included palm proof technology with the U32U to prevent accidental typing through errant hand movements.
